The schedule for the day differs from group to group. The infants have individualized schedules with caregivers responding to their interests and needs. As the children grow older, the schedule tends to become more uniform for the groups of children who are now enjoying being among peers for both planned and spontaneous activities. The typical day includes time for play, exploration, self discovery, socializing, outside play, greetings and farewells, eating, resting, hygiene, and clean up.
